Which Way Nigeria?

A Country with a staggering population of over 170million people.

Below are my Random Musings, that would cause you to muse too.


Olympics and Show of shame;

It was an embarrassing moment for our sportsmen and sportswomen.

I could tell ,they have never felt this Disappointed since their sporting life like they were in the just concluded Rio Olympics 2016.

From lack of motivation, lack of support, self- sponsorship, to lack of incompetence and preparations.


You could tell from afar, that our sports representatives wished that what happened few weeks ago was a mere dream.

Thanks to the Indomitable spirit and commitment of Our Football players, we would have nothing to show , we went for the Olympics as a Nation.

I wished we didn't participated , than this National embarrassments.

You and I saw how the Japanese Doctor, Katsuya Takasu donated $390,000 to both Samson Siasia and John Mikel Obi , and the saga from NFF.

No Nigerian Billionaires or Politician could support their own countrymen..
Isn't it a shame?

Or Just like someone claimed, that being Generous in Nigeria is risky.
The EFCC could grill the individual or his account frozen or his actions would be probed.

Sports Ministry and Incompetence;

In a saner country, The Sports minister would have resigned Honourably and give room for a more competent fellow.

Our sporting sector is now a mock.

In other countries, sports generate massive interest and supports, ours is soiled by politics and nepotism.


The Missing $20Bn ;

Been over a year now Alison Diezeani left office, as petroleum minister, APC and Co are yet to find the Missing $20Bn.
Sadly its no longer hitting headlines.

How politics breed hate, is similar to how fire destroy farmlands.


Chibok; We regret Voting for Buhari in 2015.

So soon?
That was too quick or was it too late, judging from the promise that within few months into governance, the missing chibok girls would be found?

That's their own regret, other groups would soon file their regrets.

Or are we entering the season of regrets, after the 'Blaming' season ?

They should just stop it and enjoy the change.
Change they wanted, change they got and change would they continue dealing with.


Isn't that so?


Fayose and the Zenith Account;

Seems that case has been flushed into the septic tank.

But why exactly was this issue raised in the first place?
To what gain exactly was Fayose grilled?

Emergency Power;

Sounds pretty funny.
What in the world is emergency power, cos am not in the know of what that means.

Reading the content and the covert undertone of Tyranny, in a Democratic setting, I doubt if it would see the moonlight , talk more of daylight.

Its only a wish.

I feel State of Emergency should be declared on our economy and policy.
That would see daylight and endorsement.

Or am I making a wild wish ?
