Youths in Politics?

At some point ,you would be forced, to leave Nigeria Politics.

Awolowo was (37), Akintola (36), Ahmadu Bello (36), Effiong (36), Balewa (34) and Okotie-Eboh (27), Enahoro (27) led the struggle for independence after the death of Macaulay. Only Zik was 42 at the time.

In 1966, the first coup was led by: Kaduna Nzeogwu (29) and countered by Murtala Mohammed (28), Theophilus Danjuma (28), Babangida (25), Nanven Garba (23), Sani Abacha (23), Shehu Musa Yaradua (23), and brought into power Gowon (32), Ojukwu (33), Obasanjo (29), Buhari (24). 

Today we still have some of the military administrators as Ministers, governors, Senators, eccetera who governed the states under the successive military regimes decades ago. 

Their tiredly frail brains and bodies are still much around the corridors of power. They've got no plans to groom younger Nigerians to take over from them or learn from their experience and misadventures in power, apart from their families and stooges.

The brief democratic dispensation which interjected the military interregnums also saw the House of Representatives in particular populated by majority of members under 30 years as well as some Senators. 

Under 30s were also not in short supply with appointments then. There were examples such as MT Mbu who became Foreign Affairs Minister at 23 and Pat Utomi who became a Presidential Adviser at 27 and so on and so forth.

BUT TODAY:
Why is it that this age bracket is today still sleeping in 3 seater chairs in their parents’ homes? 
Why is it that this age bracket are predominantly in football viewing centres today?
Why is that this age bracket are frustrated in politics and prefer discussing the Premier League than politics of their nation?
Why is it that this age bracket is today still collecting pocket money from their parents? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today still writing JAMB the third or fourth time? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today still sagging their trousers? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today still searching for jobs?
Why is it that this age bracket is today no longer qualified to even be leaders of youth wings of political parties? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today so docile without self-confidence? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today still incapable of feeding itself? 
Why is it that this age bracket is today barred by law from even aspiring to certain political offices?
Why is it that this age bracket is today incapacitated, unwilling, unable and incapable of asking relevant national questions? 

Why, why and why? 

You can't wrap your mind ,on what an Average Nigerian Youths want.

They can easily sell their Porridge, for few Naira Notes.

They Prefer to Chant and support older men, than Support a Young person, whom they would be able to control and hold responsible!

One of the Deciet of 21st Century , is the Older the Wine Philosophy!

I asked a Question , about How many Youths are actively in the helms of affair, how many youths did we support?

Am surprised I gat no single answer!

Why?

I can't seem to Understand !

The Youths don't even Trust themselves.

They would rather throw weight behind an old man or woman , than support a young mind.

I am simply not surprised how backward we have gone.

The same sect of power drunk politicians, are still controlling us and dictating for us.

Read a little History,
This sect of people rode the horse of power in their Young ages(28- 40)
, 
ruled and controlled Nigeria.

The weird thing is, they still rule.

"The highest form of corruption, is the corrupt mind filled with greed and envy!"

When Last did you hear or read about Young Generals? 
When Last did you read or heard about Young Ministers?
Young Politicians?

They keep Recycling and Producing same sect of people for the People to select as Leaders.

Not only in Nigeria,
But Look at USA.
Imagine the calibre of People contesting for Presidency.

Older men and women, people who have controlled businesses, been in Politics, had Influence, Yet the Level of greed and envy in them is simply ridiculous !

What happened to the Younger Generation ?

Probably they feel, the Young minds are Bothered with Relationships, Quick Fame , Cash , Classic Cars, Luxurious House,The Musics, Touring the World, Living extravagantly !
They call them, the "HIP POP GENERATION".

There is No single School in the World, Where People are Taught, on how to Be Successful Leaders or Politicians. ( I stand to be corrected).

And even if there is, The Older Generations won't give way for the Younger Generations.

Am Just Speechless.
