Appreciate friendships when they exist. Do your best to sustain them, even in your infallibility.
But bear in mind: friendships don't last forever. They, like every earthly enterprise, expire too.
Always expect that to happen. Don't be surprised when it happens. You may scarcely expect it, but that's not the end of your story. Your heart retains the capacity to cultivate millions of friendships.
Change is dynamic. It is unstoppable
Feelings are like change. Dynamite in nature.
When friendship expires, raise your two hands in the air, smack your lips and move on with a lesson - there is always one.
Be yourself. Accept others as they are except killers of emotions and the body. You'd be fine.
There's nothing wrong with losing friendships; it's like losing a favorite cellphone. You'd afford a better one in no time, or a more inferior one you could use for a while before your next paycheck arrives. Never worry, you'd remain unscathed.
Remember, there is no rule to succeed on earth. Start every friendship on a clean plate, and when it wanes or ends, wipe your mind clean ...
And begin to write again.
