The BEES Stung Her, She is Now Saving Them ...

11 year old Saves the Bee and Quench the Thirst
The bees Stung her, She turned around to save them and make income from it...

An 11-year old Texas girl has signed a deal with Whole Foods to sell her lemonade — developed from her great-grandmother’s 1940 recipe — in four southern states.

After appearing on the hit ABC business investor show Shark Tank, Austin, Texas sixth grader Mikaila Ulmer gained $60,000 for her BeeSweet Lemonade company, which is saving honeybees and quenching thirsts in her home town.

The deal will place her home-style lemonade, “Me & The Bees,” on the shelves of more than 55 Whole Foods stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

“I work on the business after school, after I do my homework, and on weekends and during spring breaks,” Mikaila said in an interview with NBCBLK. “There are not too many times when I feel stressed.”

When she was four years old, the young entrepreneur had a bad encounter with honey bees.
She revealed in her interview with NBCBLK that two bees stung her in the same week. This encounter inspired her to use honey instead of sugar as the main ingredient in her lemonade.

Hear Her

I didn’t enjoy the bee stings at all. They scared me. But then something strange happened. I became fascinated with bees. I learned all about what they do for me and our ecosystem. So then I thought, what if I make something that helps honeybees and uses my Great Granny Helen’s recipe?

That’s how BeeSweet Lemonade was born. It comes from my Great Granny Helen’s flaxseed recipe and my new love for bees. So that’s why we sweeten it with local honey. And today my little idea continues to grow. “

Ulmer knowingly made this move to save the dwindling bumble bee population, because bees are essential in food and plant pollination.

According to a 2013 report by Yale, the world’s bee population is quickly disappearing due to rampant global warming and climate change. For instance, in 2013, many U.S. beekeepers experienced losses up to 40 to 50 percent, and in some cases more. This record-setting event happened just as commercial bee operations were ramping up and preparing to transport their hives for the country’s largest pollinator event: the fertilising of California’s almond trees. Bees pollinate almost one-third of American foods.

In a 2016 assessment from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, bees and butterfly populations are decreasing primarily because of the increased use of pesticides.

In fact, more than 80 scientists conclude that pesticides — among the many man-made problems such as global warming — are causing the mass pollinator to die-off.

Ulmer’s product will help solve this growing problem. She has donated small portions of her profits to various organisations that will help bring back the bees and stop the extreme rate of die-offs.

            11 year Old....

This is one of the amazing stories you hear that gets you fired up to be the best you can and want to be...

If an 11 year old can, you can!
If an 11 year old can, your Kid can...!

The question is, what are you exposing yourself to and the kids to?.
What level of knowledge are you feeding yourself or your kids?
Right or Wrong Knowledges?

Do you believe in yourself or in your kid?

Whats your excuse?

She would have hated bees all her life for stinging her, No she turned that to a blessing, she made research, she studied and was inquisitive..

There is one thing you cant do to a curious mind, Quench it!
It gets fired up everytime!

How about No time, to achieve my goals ...
learn from what she said below..

“I work on the business after school, after I do my homework, and on weekends and during spring breaks,” Mikaila said in an interview with NBCBLK. “There are not too many times when I feel stressed.”

I have personally discovered one thing in life, if you are working on your dreams or a realistic passion, stress hardly comes up as topic of discussion, tho you would at some point experience it, but you don't make it a matter..

Your dreams needs just 1 hour, maybe 2 or Just 3 or even 30 minutes...
Work on it and never stop dreaming but quit sleeping on  your dreams..

Its Possible, Be Crazy to think it is.!!

But the young people look out for the biggest show in the weekend, club all night, sag pants, womanize.., do drugs, gamble, watch football, listen to music non stop, look out for ways to steal and dupe people, spend extravagantly, kill at any slightest provocation and stall their dreams.

They don't Push, they don't wait, Patience is a crime.

No Vision., No risk, No Patience, No Passion, No goals, No Ambition and No Values!

Present an Idea to them, They knock it off Nonchalantly!
They Don't Dare!
They Don't Try anything New!
They Use past Experience of people who failed to justify their Lack of interest!
They Daily Make others Rich.
They Love their Comfort Zone.
They Love Free Life.
They Barely Leverage.
They Just Sit and Pretend It's OKAY when It isn't..

Emekus is A Nigerian Not A Criminal

Its really appalling to read the President of an Industrious Black nation calling its people "Criminals".

quite appalling..

Las Vegas is known for its Gangsterism and Hub for Criminal Activities, Yet i haven't read Obama, the President of USA say anything or calling the citizens names, but our excellency went to England, he was granted audience and he has the audacity to call Nigerians Criminal? That's Absurd.

Every right thinking Nigerian, should stand against this Blackmail.
Its Scandalous.

Meanwhile , i have someone doing exceptionally well, He is a Nigerian from Nsukka , Enugu State. His name is Emeka Nelson..
I call him Emekus.. A Nigerian Flesh and Blood.

Emeka Nelson created an electricity generator that is powered by water.

You heard right!
WATER.......

He also invented what he calls the "MGBANWE C12", a machine that turns non-biodegradable wastes like plastics, waterproof nylon, etc into petrol, kerosene, diesel and some other heavy oils and interlocking stones. In the pictures:

L-R: the Hydroelectric Generator and MGBANWE C12.

Creative and inventive minds in Africa should be identified, supported and celebrated.

Finally A Nigerian have solved a puzzle, even designers and makers of Generators couldn't solve.

He didn't attend to Harvard or MIT , he is a Nigerian and went to Nigerian Schools.
His father is not a Politician but a Normal Citizen.

Creative minds, Industrious minds, Intelligent minds and Innovative minds abound in our Country.

Proudly Nigerian.

We are Proud to Identify ourselves as Nigerians, please stop calling us Criminals , we are not Criminals, I repeat, We Are not CRIMINALS.

A Beggar in the Bank...

I was amazed when I saw this beggar , roll into the bank.

I haven't seen any before.

It passed a message to me that against all odds, you have to learn how to save.

Its important, even the Lowest denomination, you have to save.

One thing about success is how much you save not how much you spend.
Learn to save.
Make it a habit.

In fact saving is a skill you have to learn, the economy is not funny, you have to cut expenses and save.

Cut the excessive shoppings, impromptu shoppings , unnecessary spendings on meaningless things.
Focus on essentials.

Cheers.

Can you do this?

I was heading back to office, and I saw this Young man on Broad Street, Lagos Island..

I was amazed at his hustling spirit and creative mind.

With the recent outbreak of Lassa Fever, he would be making a fortune.

He has dead dried rats on him, showing the efficacy of his poison on rats.

One thing about hustling spirit is, you ain't ashamed of anything, so far it foot your bill.

No matter what you do, be creative with it,it will take you places ..

Also remember, Protect your family, get a rat Poison, Protect your meals and keep away foods eaten by rat.
Your health is important.
